We’re proud to share that our “Metallic Mosaic” powder room has been awarded the 2024 NKBA Puget Sound Design Award in the Powder Room category. Presented by the National Kitchen & Bath Association, this honor celebrates forward-thinking design and exceptional craftsmanship, a true reflection of the care, creativity, and precision behind every detail.

Transforming Constraints into Statements

In a home already rich with personality, our Principal Designer, Shefali Thomas, saw untapped potential in one of its smallest spaces: the powder room. Tucked at the heart of the home, this often-overlooked area became a focal point for a bold and sophisticated transformation. The vision? To create a guest-facing room that embodied modern luxury—visually striking, yet warm and inviting. Every design choice was intentional, blending practicality with high design.

Statement Wall: Chevron with a Golden Edge

The showstopper of the room is the chevron-patterned accent wall. Marble-like white tiles are detailed with soft gold veining, creating a sense of movement and elevating the room with subtle drama. This striking feature sets the tone for the entire space: refined, confident, and cohesive.

Gold Accents, Seamless Surfaces & Balanced Illumination

Against the geometric backdrop, a tall oval mirror softens the lines. Framed in slim brushed gold, it complements the wall without overpowering it. Flanking the mirror, twin round sconces with opal globes offer a flattering glow—perfect for a space that’s as functional as it is elegant. Overhead, a recessed light ensures the room remains bright and shadow-free.

The brushed gold finish continues in the gooseneck faucet, towel ring, and hardware, unifying the room’s aesthetic. A sleek stone-veneered countertop made of quartz features subtle veining and an undermount sink, adding both visual spaciousness and ease of use.

Mood Board: Textures, Tones, and Touches

The material board tells a story of harmony. White finishes, patterned surfaces, and golden accents working together to deliver a clean, modern look with a touch of glamour. A single orchid sits on the counter, offering an organic, calming contrast to the bold design.
